B1 Fire Resistant Foam

Selsil B1 Fire Resistant Foam is a moisture cure, one component, fire retardant filling and insulation material. Has a semi-rigid structure, and allows vibration and joint movements, although difficult to bend.

Cured by air humidity.
Excellent adhesion to wood, brick, stone, cement, plaster, asbestos, drywall, hardboard, and metal substrates (excluding polyethylene, silicone, and Teflon).
Resistant to fire for up to 4 hours.
Insulates against sound and heat.
Cuttable and paintable when cured.
Fills all kinds of cavities, insulates.
Usable both indoors and outdoors.
Foam is waterproof once cured.
Serves as a smoke blocking sealant.
Gunnable, easy to use.
Not clogged when the application is paused for a brief period of time.
Requires less frequent cleaning.
Changing the tube takes less time.


Storage is 12 months when stored at temperatures between +5ºC/°41F and +25°C/77°F.
