3641 Bearing Retainer

Medium strength, ideal for filling spaces of 0.2 mm (0.008″) in diameter. Offers high performance, controlled strength, versatile bearing fixation. Used in clearance fit, fitting, bearing, and grease seals. Ideal for cylindrical parts requiring disassembly.

This product is not recommended for use in pure oxygen and/or oxygen rich systems and should not be use with chlorine or other strong oxidising materials.

Application Details
For the best results in assembly, clean all surfaces (internal and external) with a cleaning solvent, and leave to dry. If the material is an inactive metal or the drying rate is slow, use an activator. For a slip fit, apply adhesive circularly along the leading edge of the pin and inside the collar to ensure good coverage. For a press fit, fully apply the adhesive to both bonding surfaces and press-fit at high speed. For a shrink fit, cover the pin with adhesive, then heat the collar until opening needed for free fitting is achieved. For disassembly, locally heat up to 250°C/482°F. Remove the part while it is hot.
