Occupational Health and Safety Policy

In line with its corporate objectives and with all parties it works with, Sel regards people as its most valuable asset and makes creating a safer and healthier working environment a priority business objective.

To improve the performance of our occupational health and safety management system, we accept and commit, as an integral part of our business, to:

• Preventing workplace accidents and occupational illness through the aims and objectives we set;
• Complying with all legal and other requirements that apply to us;
• Identifying risks related to climate change and creating a safe and healthy working environment;
• Identifying and assessing the hazards, risks and opportunities arising from our activities and from outside the workplace;
• Taking protective and preventive measures for all parties and stakeholders;
• Treating the suggestions and views of our employees and their representatives as the most important source of continuous improvement in everything we do;
• Raising health and safety awareness among all our employees and stakeholders;
• Tackling hazards and risks at source to eliminate them;
• Continually improving our occupational health and safety management system through periodic objectives and reviews.

Implementing this policy is a reflection of SEL's commitment. We expect employees and stakeholders in all our areas of operation to follow health and safety practices with great care.

If any breach of health and safety is identified, we commit to launching effective and comprehensive response processes without delay and to continually reviewing and strengthening our improvement mechanisms to prevent a recurrence, and we work resolutely to uphold these principles in full.
