Adhesive Foam
Selsil Adhesive Foam is a single-component, polyurethane-based bonding foam that cures with atmospheric moisture. It is used to bond polystyrene insulation boards, including XPS and EPS, in building thermal-insulation systems. It is also suitable for bonding decorative building elements such as mouldings.
- It provides excellent adhesion to many building materials.
- It can be cut and painted after curing.
- Easy to apply.
- It does not clog during short pauses in application.
- Contains no CFC or HCFC gases.

Questions & Answers
Yes. It is designed to bond XPS and EPS boards used for thermal insulation, and decorative architectural mouldings.
Apply it 2 cm in from the edges in a 3 cm wide bead. Also apply foam along the board's centre line.
Wait 3–4 minutes, then position the board and press it for 1 minute.
Adjustments can be made within 15–20 minutes.
Dampen the clean, dust-free and grease-free surface. Keep the can at 20–25 °C and shake it about 30 times.
Do not use it on PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, soft plastic, neoprene or bituminous surfaces.
Yes. It must be protected from UV and covered. Do not use it in areas with continuous exposure to water.
Fresh foam can be removed with Selsil Foam Cleaner. Cured foam is removed mechanically with a knife or spatula.
