Winter Mounting Foam
Selsil Winter Mounting Foam is a single-component, polyurethane-based filling and insulation material. It cures with moisture in the air. Separate versions can be applied down to −10 °C or −15 °C.
- It provides excellent adhesion to many building materials such as wood, concrete, tiles, metal and aluminium; Not suitable for polyethylene, silicone and teflon.
- It provides sound and heat insulation.
- Once cured, it can be cut and painted.
- It has very good filling and expansion capacity.

Questions & Answers
Yes. Separate versions can be applied down to −10 °C or −15 °C. Check which version you have before applying it.
Low temperatures increase curing time and may reduce yield.
It bonds to building materials such as wood, concrete, roof tiles, metal and aluminium.
It is not suitable for PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, silicone, soft plastic, neoprene or bituminous surfaces.
No. Filling 80% of the gap is sufficient, as the foam expands during curing.
Dampen the clean, dust-free and grease-free surface. Shake the can vigorously about 30 times and hold it upside down during application.
Yes. It can be cut and painted once cured. The cutting time is 20 ± 5 minutes; low temperatures may extend this time.
Yes. Protect foam exposed to UV with paint or a coating. Do not use it in areas with continuous exposure to water.
